Ending 2008 with a BANG. :)

The end of 2008 is coming 'round the corner, and before i step into the new year, i'm gonna take a bit of time to look back at the year and thank God for everything He's brought me through.

Firstly, there was my Yamaha Grade 5 Practical exam which God saw me through with flying colours.
Then there was CF Rally which went well..and SMKSJ's CF Group grew so much compared to the previous years. The Form 1s were awesome in bringing in their friends. It's definitely something that i'm gonna learn and put to practice in the next two years that i'm still in school. :)

Another thing to thank God for is something that's really dear to my heart- our cells, SS19C & SS19D. We've been together for quite some time and this year, we've seen a huge change in the cell. From the growth of the cell to the relationships between the cell members, almost everything we prayed for to happen has happened.
John, Ejuen, Adam and I had to step up and take position when Eluth left. It was then when we realised how tough running a cell actually was. But i guess we all learn from our mistakes..and after a while, with the support of the cell members like Joyce and Michelle, things started to go well. Of course there was also Nelson and Danny who were there to help us and Simon who gave advices. God raised up and nurtured many leaders this year. I'm really really proud of Michelle who's grown so much this year. Even Amanda has changed..from being the quiet girl, now she's really quite bising one lah. Haha. And Chloe, one of our newest additions to cell this year..the first two weeks when she came with Angelin and Weng Ni, they were so click-ish. Now she's ready to help out in any way she can at cell.
And recently during our Love Is In The Air Christmas Party, we had over 70 people altogether. Praise the Lord! (:
Ultimately, we couldn't have achieved so much without God's guiding hand, and the support of the cell.
So THANK YOU, 19C & 19D for being so cooperative with us this year.

I'd also like to thank God for my totally awesome friends, both from school and church. Love them ALL. Thank You for blessing me with such wonderful friends who i'm really thankful for

I can't think of anything much to say now, besides to thank Him for everything.
Good or bad, everything happens for a reason. So all my praises and thankfulness for everything He has done.

Christmas 2008 :)

Merry Christmas!
Christmas isn't about santa claus or whatever nonsense people think it is..it's about celebrating the birth of Christ.
Which is why it's called CHRISTmas, not Xmas as many like to call it..totally different. :)
The giving of presents is to remind us of the gift God gave us- his one and only son, Jesus.

Anyway.
Went to church in the morning for Christmas celebration service.
19C cell had a really interesting dresscode.
Adam and I got the girls to come in either dresses or skirts and the guys to come in a long-sleeved top.
What was amazing was that almost all of them came in black and white.
Hahaha. It was so funny. (:
I'll upload pics another day.

Love Is In The Air :)

SS19C held its "Love Is In The Air" Christmas party yesterday from 7.30-11.30pm.
And guess what? WE BROKE THE RECORD! =) *cheers*
Previously, one of the USJ secondary cells which was under Joann Koo, made the record of 52 people in total. :)
Yesterday, we had a total number of 73 people! (; Praise the Lord.

We started off with forfeiting those who didn't come dressed in red or white, then we had a round of introduction, went on with the human bingo game and then the bom game..
Then, we had DINNER. =]
After dinner, we played the Twelve Days Of Christmas game..and it was really funny seeing the groups get up and sit down and get up again.. =P
Then we went on with the main programme, the story of Christ and why he was born and everything..
When everything was done, then we had gift exchange. :) Thank God we bought extra gifts..there were JUST about enough for everyone. *whew*
Then we gave out the doorgifts to the first-timers and took pictures together and all..

When everyone went back, John, Adam, Nelson, Jason, Joyce and I stayed back at the house with Danny and just sat and talked about the event and finally RESTED. =]
By the time we left the house it was like, 1.30? Hahaha..then stopped by a nearby mamak place for a quick drink before we headed home. (:

Now that the event is over, i really wanna thank a few people who put in a lot of time and effort into the organising :)
So, a VERY BIG THANK YOU to :
John Chew
Adam Yong
Ejuen Lee
Michelle Chong
Joyce Ong
Amanda Lee
Chloe Lau
These were the people who put in a lot of work with co-ordinating, decorating, cleaning, shopping and a lot of other things just so that the everything will be ready in time for the event.
Another person to thank is Jason Ngu- for helping us out in whatever area we needed help in.. the buying of stuff, transport, and everything else. =)

Also to Danny and Nelson for being there to assist us.
And to the WHOLE of the 19C and 19D cell for being a part of the event and inviting their friends to come and join us. I absolutely LOVE our cell.
And last but not least, thank God. If not for Him, the event wouldn't have turned out well.
So yeah, thank God for everything. =D

LIITA? :)

Our "Love Is In The Air" Christmas party is TOMORROW! =)
Eh, wait.. just realised that it's "tomorrow" now- since it's past midnight and all. Hee.
It's really exciting and all, but really stressing for all of us involved in the organizing thingy :)

It was..erm..a very tiring day. (;
Adam, John, Jason and I spent like half the day at Mid Valley looking for and buying stuff for decorations and plates and spoons and forks and all..
Then at like 8pm, Jason drove Adam and I all the way to Glenmarie to Abigail's house for the christmas presentation practice, before fetching John to Danny's place and then headed back to Mid Valley to catch a movie with his cellies, which eventually got cancelled- i forgot the reason. hahaha..
Anyway, after practice we went back to danny's place to decorate a bit before going home at 12am.
Now i've got stuff to prepare at home..and i have no idea what time we're meeting up later for the LAST time before the party. Aiyah..can one lah. (;

Lalala..gonna go and do stuff for the party now.
THANK YOU JASON. You're an AWESOME person. =)
God bless you in everything you do. :)

HUGE Camp.

Wheeee. Came back from camp on Thursday. =)
Camp was gooood. Worship was AWESOME. The YAM Band is really really annointed. I like the pianist. And the drummer. *big smile* And you could really feel God's presence in the room. It was amazing. :D
The songs they chose were really catchy and easy to sing to..really good. I like. (;

Food wasn't that great though..there were SO MANY FLIES. Goodness. Our lunch-time game was to trap flies in cups.
I won- No surprise there right? =P *dramatic pose* haha, no lah..it was kinda like a fortunate chance that four flies actually went into the cup at the same time.
We took pictures of the cups stacked up together.. I'll post it another day. :) Don't have the pictures yet..

Oooh. Free time in the afternoons were the best.
We went down to the pool area to swim and play frisbee in the pool.
They had like three pools, so we had quite a lot of space to play in. =) that was really fun. hehe.
But it kinda killed us during the night sessions cos we were all so tired.. especially the first night. Haha.

At night after the sessions were our "bonding sessions". =) The girls would group in Joyce's room and talk and eat junk.
Heh. Fun fun! :)
Oooooh, on the first night, we had our worship practice for the morning session the next day.
After that, my sister and i taught Abigail and Sarah the parts for the songs.
It was so nice when we were all singing the different parts for the songs..Abigail did soprano, Sarah did alto with my sis, and i did tenor part..
It sounded SO GOOD. Cos it echoed off the wall and all. So niceeee.. :) and they have good voices, so yeah.

I miss camp. :( Huuu..
Oh well, i have Christmas to look forward to. =)
And our Christmas party.. *sings* love is in the air...
Hahaha. There's still a lot of preperations and planning to be done, so it'll be a busy week. :) but it'll be fun.
And it will be worth it on that day. Hee. (:
I'm REALLY excited. =)
Oh well, gonna go up to bed now.
Nights.
