A walk through 2009

2009 was a wonderful year.

So many things happened this year.

The year started of in church. Watchnite service. :)

The emphasis the church set for the year 2009 was the Year of Positioning. I really believe that it was the right emphasis because many many things happened in 2009 that i really never thought could happen.

After watchnight service, I went out with Adam Yong, Jason Ngu, Nelson Ong, Tan Yee Wei and Roger Chan for our first meal of the year. :)

[ The one sentence they still remember up to now is me saying "I'm gonna die when i go home!!" because it was really REALLY late. =P ]

Then in February, there was the "interview" to be in the Subang Rally committee.

This was really pretty wow, because i went there without even knowing it was an interview and I even got in.

Hey, God works in His ways. :D hahaha.
And through that positioning, i started contributing more in CF as well.

Then on the 8th of May, the CF of SMKSJ had our Easter Rally! :)

Again, the unimaginable happened.

I tore a muscle while practising the dance we were going to perform, and my whole knee cap moved to the side.. It was kinda freaky and gross but really cool as well cos i could see and feel my leg all weird and bulging at the wrong place. Ugh.. HAHAHA.

But through that, many other people were kinda pushed to take over what i was supposed to do, which in that sense made them step up and take the position.

But we had an AMAZING turn up on that day. :) Thank God for that.

In July, there was Subang Rally!
The event that the committee worked on for months. :)
PRAISE THE LORD, everything we worked hard for paid off and we had the most awesome rally to date! :)
I got to know about 30 amazing people from the worship teams and the whole wonderful committee that i love dearly.
Again, we were blessed with the 400+ registrations and the 1000+ people who came for the concert and the many salvations we had on that day. :)

In August.

The CF of SMKSJ had out last official meeting. :)
In other words, our party. (;
It was LOADS of fun and so many people turned up.
On that day, we were told by members of other clubs that they were going to quit their clubs and join CF next year. YAAY! :D hahaha.
God is good! :)

November.
I had my Yamaha Fundamentals Grade 4 exam..thank God for keeping me very calm throughout the exam.
The previous exam, my nerves were so bad that I couldn't stop crying for half an hour after coming out of the exam hall.
And the day after that, GTPJ had out Charity Bazaar! :)
My cell, SS19C teamed with another cell and was put in charge of a candle-blowing game..which is really not easy, actually. :) the game, i mean.
We went out to get kids to play our game and in the end, our stall managed to raise RM1000 for charity. :)
SO COOL RIGHT! :D hahaha.

December!
First there was a very very VERY GREAT AND POWERFUL APYAC conference.
SO many lives were touched and changed, mine included. :)
Then there was Christmas@Home, our cell party.
Praise the Lord for almost 70 people who attended the party and the three salvations we had! :D
God is so so so awesome. (;
Then Christmas celebration services at church, where the group that did the presentation got invited to perform at MCA's Christmas gathering or something like that.
What an opportunity we have to share the GREAT news to all the party's leaders and members from all over Malaysia! :)
Youth camp was a fantastic camp.
This was the first camp we really didn't follow the schedule and just went with the flow of where God was leading us to..
It was really amazing.
Friendships were strengthened, new relationships formed, the uncelled were celled, the not so close became very close, the quiet became noisy, the crazy became even crazier, the loud became louder, hearts and lives were changed and touched.


To God be the glory for the things He has done! =]
It was a great and awesome Year of Positioning with Him in 2009.

Looking forward to an even greater Year of Favour in 2010!
